As a Director of Photography, I work with video producers/directors and media executives in corporations to shoot their documentary and corporate productions. I advise as to what equipment will do the job and how to deploy it to capture the most interesting and revealing shots to tell their story. I see the project through to completion and assure people who hire me that I will stay with the production to the very end. Since the pandemic started, I have shot interviews on various locations using ZOOM adjacent to the camera setup to allow producers who are in distant locations to see and hear the interviewee. That way they can have a relaxed discussion, seeing and hearing each other before and during the actual interview. It works.
