Lee Mendelson Productions opened in Burlingame, California (17 miles south of San Francisco) in 1963. Creator of scores of documentaries including A MAN NAMED MAYS and A BOY NAMED CHARLIE BROWN. Producer of the Animated specials based on Charles Schulz’ “Peanuts” Characters including “A Charlie Brown Christmas” and “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” as well as four feature films and numerous other entertainment and documentary projects based on Peanuts.
